Mark Goodman is in his 9th year as the president of the Santa Maria Joint Union High School Faculty Association. He has been a negotiator for over 20 years and has served as a Site Rep. for for 22 years. He also serves on the Health Benefits Committee, Staffing Committee, Grievance Committee, and Budget Committee.
Riccardo Magni is a Science Teacher at Pioneer Valley High School. He has been active in the SMFA with 9 years as a Site Representative, 6 years on the staffing committee and currently is Co-Chair on the Grievance Committee.

FA Leadership
The FA Leadership team is comprised of the elected Exective Board and the Negotiating Team. Together they work to ensure that students needs are being met, that teachers are supported and protected from aribtrary actions by managment, and that the FA as a whole is moving in the proper direction. In summary, the leadership is here to serve and protect all certificated educators, and ensure that educators can make teaching and learning done on campuses every day their number one priority and focus.
